Living on 24 m² – everything new in 2022

The mobile home was extensively renovated in 2022 and offers everything you need on 24 m²: a kitchen with stove, refrigerator, and sink, a cozy living area with satellite connection, a toilet with washing area, and a sleeping area with a new bed. The floors have also been renewed. The comfortable couch is extendable and serves as an additional sleeping option – ideal when family or friends come to visit. There are two terraces on the property, one covered, and the other with a large umbrella.

Technology & infrastructure

The mobile home is connected to the sewer system and local water supply. Water is heated via two electric boilers in the kitchen and bathroom. During transitional periods, a small electric heater is sufficient. Please note: from November to March, the water is turned off – this prevents freezing. During this time, the mobile home is ideal for short stays or as a temporary retreat. Interior blinds keep the sun out, and there are also exterior blinds on the front side. Watering is done by Gardena, even when you are not there, as programmed.

Garden & extras – just start and feel good

In the garden, there is a garden shed with all the tools and a lawnmower. Sun loungers, a gas grill, and even bicycles are included! A solar shower in the garden provides refreshment, and the public showers are only two minutes away.

Created from a former lignite open-pit mine, it impresses today with excellent water quality and an idyllic location between gentle hills and vineyards. Whether swimming, diving, sailing, surfing, stand-up paddling, or simply sunbathing on well-kept sunbathing areas – everyone finds their favorite activity here. For families, the lake offers shallow shore areas, playgrounds, and safe swimming zones. Cyclists and walkers also benefit from the well-developed paths around the lake.

Culinary diversity directly by the lake and in Neufeld

The Neufeldersee Hotel & Restaurant pampers its guests with seasonal and regional dishes as well as Italian, Mediterranean, and Austrian cuisine – vegetarian and vegan options included. Every Sunday and holiday, a unique brunch with panoramic views of the lake invites you to indulge. The "Unüberseebar" directly on the beach provides the perfect ending to the day with cocktails, snacks, and beach feeling. The traditional heuriger Fink, established in Neufeld for over 30 years, is also worth a visit for its famous backhenderln.

A special highlight for sweet tooths is the ice cream parlor Stazinger in the heart of Neufeld. Here, homemade ice cream made from natural ingredients – with fresh fruits and organic milk, completely without artificial additives – is served. Diving and water sports at Neufelder See

Neufelder See is the only bathing lake in the eastern federal region that is particularly suitable for diving due to its depth and clarity – it is considered the diving paradise of Austria. With visibility of up to ten meters, several entry points, and exciting underwater attractions such as platforms, sculptures, or a sunken sailboat, the lake offers ideal conditions for beginners and advanced divers. The diving school Lorenc, located directly at the beach, offers introductory courses, training, and guided dives.

Surf enthusiasts are also well catered for: the Neufeld surfing school was established in the mid-1980s and has nearly 30 years of club history. Neufelder See is particularly suitable for surfing beginners – but experienced surfing enthusiasts also get their money's worth in strong winds. In addition to windsurfing, stand-up paddling is also offered.

Neufeld and surroundings: more than just a bathing lake

The municipality of Neufeld an der Leitha offers good infrastructure for daily needs in addition to the lake. The Neufeld train station is an important pillar of the community and offers direct connections to Vienna. Bus connections are also well developed – the bus stop is directly in front of the beach entrance, and the train station is only about 500 meters away.

Public transport connections

Train: The trains of the Raaberbahn run hourly at Neufeld station, even every half hour during peak hours. From Vienna's main train station, there is a direct connection to Neufeld an der Leitha with a travel time of about 41 minutes.

Bus: The bus stop is located directly in front of the beach entrance.
