The urban one of the series: Red Vienna architecture instead of forest.

The only thoroughly urban trail of the series: from Reumannplatz through Favoriten and across the Gürtel into Margareten, past the council blocks of Red Vienna. An architecture walk through a hundred years of social housing.

Who this trail is for

For the housing-curious in the literal sense: nowhere else does Vienna’s housing history explain itself this densely. Works in bad weather too.

Good to know

The trail runs through dense city, partly along loud roads: this one is about buildings and history, not quiet.

What changes along the way

Every 200 metres of the trail, sampled against wohnwahn’s data. The curves run from the start (left) to the finish (right). In short: almost completely flat.
